My desire with wayward grain is to create designs that echo natural landscapes and to continually push the boundary of what's possible. The island table is a concept that has tested that limit. emerging from the glass river are flowing island patterns that course along the length of the table. The effect was created were by carefully routing the wood and preserving the islands, leaving them intact. The design features quarter-sawn American Sycamore that compliments the red oak, warming any inviting area or living space.
