I love being in nature. Growing up in Illinois I spent my summers at camp, which fostered a deep appreciation for plants and living things. My undergrad studies in college were focused on botany and environmental sciences with an independent study on designing biodiesel processors for home and educational use. After I graduated, I moved to Colorado for a job opportunity in plant cultivation and farm management. Over the years of building processors and working on farms, my toolbox had gotten pretty big. I loved being in the shop building things! Working with wood had always been my favorite thing to do and over the years, learning the craft became my passion. Now, I design and build custom furniture. I use live edge wood and seek out the most unique American slabs I can find, using the beautiful Rocky Mountains as inspiration to create designs that bring us closer to nature.
